“the first-ever libretto written by David Shrigley”
Best-known for his wry and witty drawings, David Shrigley’s artistic practice extends well beyond drawing to include photography, sculpture, neon signs, animation, painting, printmaking, publishing and music.
This is the first-ever libretto written by David Shrigley, a ‘sort-of-opera’ featuring TV chefs June Spoon and Philip Fork, a manic-depressive Egg and a host of other surreal characters, on the occasion of performances taking place at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, and the Southbank Centre in London.
