Cardi Gallery presents MONUMENTAL, a group exhibition on view in Milan.

As the title suggests, the exhibition centers around a careful selection of masterpieces that stand out for their impressive scale and ambition, offering a unique opportunity to experience the monumental impact of poor materials and essential gestures.

The exhibition spans two floors of the gallery: the ground floor houses a large-scale sculpture by Jannis Kounellis, accompanied by works on canvas by Alighiero Boetti, Mario Merz and Giuseppe Penone. The first floor is entirely dedicated to a multi-panel installation by the sculptor and writer Luciano Fabro, one of the founders of Arte Povera.
