Some incoherent thoughts about Michael Horsky’s recent paintings

These paintings are living bodies.
The top layer seems to throb. The victory of the painting’s version over other possible solutions arises just temporarily. Is the REAL painting still moving under the oily skin and waiting for its appearance?
Radical surface.

Intimacy is not visible. Intimacy is happening remotely (and there is a lot of it!).
The windows of these buildings face inwards always, never outwards. Does the prison-like situation of the subjects help to free those figures?
And if so: from whom?
Free from what?
You won’t find any answers or any comments.
Is Michael Horsky an abstract painter?

History is keeping the present alive though time doesn’t have fixed directions/parameters.

Emptiness lies in abundance.
Loneliness is the measure of all things- so the glance of these figures is enraptured as if they had no choice.
Hope or damnation is not a criteria whatsoever.

Real precision is achieved only while sleeping.
