We are thrilled to announce the launch of Tropical Berlin Gallery at The American Cement Building in Los Angeles, and we’ve found the perfect artist to kick things off. Marco Schuler!

Known for his playful, bold, and humorous paintings, Marco’s multi-disciplinary approach to art is both captivating and inspiring. His work blends vibrant colors, dynamic forms, and a sense of fun that perfectly embodies the spirit of our gallery. It’s an honor to have Marco as the first artist to showcase his work in our space. Marco’s unique sensibilities bring the perfect energy to the launch of Tropical Berlin Gallery, and we can’t wait to share his vision with you.

Marco Schuler (b. 1972) is a German artist working in video, sculpture, and painting.

He studied philosophy before switching to sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Olaf Metzel. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, scholarships, and residencies, including in Nice, Los Angeles, and Krems. Since 2019, he has taught art and architecture seminars at hKDM Freiburg. In 2023, he had two work residencies at Tropical Berlin Gallery in Los Angeles.
