Sotheby's is pleased to present Art of the Americas, Featuring the American West during Visions of America on January 24, 2025 - a curated two session auction of important paintings, drawings and sculpture.

Led by Martin Johnson Heade's Hummingbirds and Gold and Purple Orchids, session one will feature historical works of art celebrating the landscapes, people and culture of the Americas. Session two will center on fine art of the American West from historical to present day and will include important works by artists such as Frederic Remington, Eanger Irving Couse and Howard Terpning.
