Hamiltons launches new social media initiatives

The gallery will be looking at the life and work of one photographer from their roster of artists every Monday with #ArtistOfTheWeek. On Tuesday, the gallery will share a link to a weekly changing viewing room, a virtual curated space where you can explore available works. Every Thursday, Hamiltons will be looking back at past art fairs and gallery exhibitions with a #TBT post. Steve Turner introduces Focus, a new initiative on the gallery’s website dedicated to providing a deeper look at the practices, processes, and experiences of a network of international artists

The first edition of Focus features Medellín-based Camilo Restrepo and his work, Tight Rope #10 (El Diablo). In an interview with Steve Turner, Restrepo describes his experiences growing up in Medellín, his artistic rebirth at CalArts, and the motivations behind his art practice.

Roberts Projects presents RPLA, a new series featuring online exhibitions, studio visits, profiles, interviews, publications and videos

Issue No. 2 of the new digital platform launches with the opening of Lenz Geerk: Wuthering Heights, which focuses on the artist’s metaphorical depiction of the body facing an interior impasse. Also on view, Projections Part IV: A Festival of Rare and Hard to See Films organized by artist, filmmaker and writer Aaron Rose.
