Whitford Fine Art is one of London’s leading international Art Galleries, specialising in European and British 20th Century painting and sculpture, with an emphasis on Post-War Abstraction and British Pop Art.
Founded in 1974 by Adrian Mibus and Louise Whitford, the gallery offers fifty years of experience in art buying, selling and advising. The Gallery also offers valuation services, curatorial advice and assistance in collection building and display. Whitford Fine Art participates in international art fairs in London, Brussels and Paris and is also a member of SLAD (Society of London Art Dealers), CINOA (International Confederation of Art and Antique Dealers’ Associations), SNA (Syndicat National des Antiquaires et Negociants) and ROCAD (Royal Chamber of Art Dealers Belgium).
For 50 years, Whitford Fine Art has presented a extensive exhibition programme, covering the movements of Belle Époque, Orientalism, Pre-Raphaelites, Symbolism, Vienna Secession, Expressionism, Cubism, École de Paris, Modern British Art and Pop Art. Whitford Fine Art is known for its large collection and is a regular lender to museum exhibitions in the UK and abroad.
The Gallery also manages the estates of Joseph Lacasse, Caziel, Mildred Bendall and Reinhold Koehler, and represents the artists Clive Barker, Frank Avray Wilson and Georges Bernède.
