Vendelmans

Founded in 2023 by Mattias Vendelmans, the eponymous dealership trades in fine paintings and works on paper. The inventory is selected with emphasis on talented, continental artists of the fin-de-siècle and beyond. Stylistically, it was a time during which the great painterly traditions of the nineteenth century met with an explosion of modernity, aided by industrial and scientific progress. This modernisation also brought with it an increased diversity of artists of all social backgrounds, genders, and geographies.
